A view of Iraq (Baqubah) as a rear gunner with the 2nd infantry division.

"It's in the Diyala Province. And it's actually a canal with trees being burned(Not tires). I suppose the flames bring a surreal quality to it. The Iraqi Police were actually the ones responsible for all that destruction. It was on a patrol we did with them called Operation Cobra Harvest. There's even a photo of me sticking out of the exact same hatch, gunning the same weapon."

I suspect that people are saying that it's a 3D render because they are accustomed to seeing Hollywood war movies and unconsciously feel that reality looks like Hollywood movie, which makes them see real reality as "fake".

Truly stunning, i love the colours. War can be a beautiful thing from a distance, but we all know thats not the fact once your involved... Another thing, what gun is that? at first i thought it was a browning fifty cal, but i cant tell with the handle in the way, i know its a smaller gun though, and it has a bipod so it must be a squad automatic weapon of some kind.
